The Wawbeek’s new Lake House Lodge offers cozy rooms with fireplaces. The eight gracious and comfortable Lodge rooms each have a deck and views of the lake and mountains. Seven rooms have king-sized beds that are convertible to twin beds and one equally gracious is handicap accessible with a queen-sized bed and pullout sofa. Each room has a sitting area adjacent to the fireplace and full bath with jet action tub. Also, there is a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and spacious deck with a view. In addition, two of the rooms on the first floor can be opened up to connect to a large suite room, one with a king-sized convertible to twin beds and the other with a queen-sized pullout sofa and two gateleg tables which, when Lake House is booked in its entirety, convert the room for dining.

The Lodge centerpiece is Ampersand Great Room with its massive stone fireplace on one side and large deck and expansive view into the woods and across Upper Saranac Lake to the mountains on the other. In between are couches, game and writing tables and reading corners. On the second floor another stone fireplace is surrounded by cushioned coziness for the exclusive use of Lake House guests.
